Origami Drippers are special handheld filters made in Japan that owe their name to the Japanese art of paper folding. Their vertical ridges and vibrant colors are reminiscent of folded origami paper. These folds not only look beautiful but also create space between the dripper and the filter, allowing hot water to flow more easily. Where does the origami hand filter come from?

The Origami filters and accessories come from Japan, where they are manufactured with the utmost precision and craftsmanship in a small factory in the Toki region. Furthermore, most of the hand filters are made from high-quality Mino porcelain, which has a 400-year history.

Which filters are suitable for the Origami Dripper?

Ideally, you should use the Origami Drippers with the specially developed Origami paper filters. These are available in sizes 2 (for the Origami Dripper S) and 4 (for the Origami Dripper M). Alternatively, the CAFEC filters in Cups 2 and 4 or the Kalita Wave filter paper also fit.
