Baratza Encore ESP Electric Coffee Grinder

The Baratza Encore ESP is an evolution of the popular Baratza Encore coffee grinder. While the Encore was designed solely for grinding filter coffee, the Encore ESP now offers grind settings for both filter coffee and espresso. The grinder features 40 grind settings from fine to coarse, making it ideal for preparation methods ranging from espresso to French press. The 40 mm steel conical burrs ensure a consistent, precise grind. These can be easily removed without additional tools, simplifying the cleaning and maintenance of the grinder.

The Encore ESP is equipped with two bins: a large bin for pour-over brewing methods and a smaller bin for espresso, which is perfectly suited for use with a portafilter. Grinding is triggered by a pulse button, giving you full control over the amount of ground coffee.

Also new to the Encore ESP is the special thermal overload protection. This reduces heat—and thus prevents overheating of the grounds—by means of a lower rotation speed. Furthermore, the lower speed reduces noise and static electricity in the grounds. It also ensures that the beans are drawn into the grinding mechanism particularly evenly.
