Collection: Palm press
Coffee lovers can already choose from a wide range of coffee makers to prepare their coffee. Nevertheless, new devices and preparation methods are constantly being developed. This is also the case with the Palmpress, which was invented in the USA. Its functionality is reminiscent of the AeroPress and is perfect for preparing a single cup of coffee. Unlike the AeroPress, however, the Palmpress does not require an additional paper filter thanks to the built-in metal filter. Discover the new coffee press from the USA and see for yourself. Order it now directly to your home.

frequently asked Questions
How does the preparation work?
As with all other preparation methods, the palm press requires ground coffee and hot water. The first step is to put both ingredients into the palm press and let the water-coffee mixture steep for three minutes with the lid closed. Then carefully turn the coffee maker over, place it on the cup and slowly press down.
For cold brew, simply add ground coffee and room-temperature water to the coffee maker and close the lid. Then leave to brew overnight in the fridge or at room temperature, ideally for 12 hours. Then turn the coffee maker over, place it on the mug and press down.
How much ground coffee should I use to prepare it?
If you don't have a precision scale at home with which you can measure out the coffee and water, simply use the markings provided in the Palmpress. You will find the appropriate markings inside for the optimal amount of coffee and water. By the way, one preparation will give you a cup of coffee with around 240 ml.
What are the differences compared to the AeroPress?
The two coffee makers are very similar in terms of how they work, but differ primarily in terms of design and the filters used. While the AeroPress usually requires a paper filter, the Palmpress is equipped with a reusable stainless steel filter. This makes for a difference in taste. It also means less waste is generated when you make your coffee.
Another difference is that with the Palmpress your coffee does not come into direct contact with plastic or rubber, but only with silicone and stainless steel. The Coffee Press also contains plastic, but only on the outside of the lid.
How does the coffee from the palm press taste?
The taste of coffee from the coffee press is reminiscent of coffee that you make with a French press. As with the French press, fats and oils get into the coffee through the metal filter, making it a little stronger and more aromatic than when prepared with a paper filter.
What makes the coffee made with the Palmpress unmistakably good?
- 1. Uses the immersion brewing method for even extraction of coffee.
- 2. Metal filter for a fuller cup.
- 3. You control variables such as the coffee-water ratio (higher for a stronger cup) and the brewing time yourself and decide on the desired result.
- 4. Coffee doesn’t meet plastic.
- 5. There is no waste during brewing (no capsules or paper filters).
How do I clean the coffee press?
Like any other coffee maker, you should clean the coffee press after each use. To do this, simply knock the coffee grounds out of the inside and then clean it with warm water and detergent. You should avoid cleaning it in the dishwasher.
