More than a week has passed since the beginning of the war in Ukraine and the fate of the people from Ukraine is moving the world. Hundreds of thousands are seeking refuge within the country and in neighboring countries, often with only the bare essentials. Therefore, the refugees mainly lack food, drinking water, hygiene articles and clothing. In addition, the medical care of the refugees inside and outside of Ukraine is particularly important. Many suffer from hypothermia, pneumonia and chronic diseases and are therefore in urgent need of medical care. Medical care is also becoming increasingly difficult in Ukraine, since the attacks e.g. B. Hospitals are destroyed and the injured cannot be adequately cared for.
The "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" is an alliance of German aid organizations and provides emergency aid all over the world, including in Ukraine. The alliance of more than 20 aid organizations helps people in Ukraine and refugees in neighboring countries. They are therefore particularly dependent on donations.
