Acaia Ion Beam, for Acaia Orbit Single Dose Grinder

The new Acaia Ion Beam solves the problem of static electricity during the grinding process. It can be used on the Acaia Orbit or as a portable accessory for various grinders.

The Acaia Ion Beam features an industrial-grade ion generator. It is designed to significantly reduce the static electricity that is generated during the grinding process. By generating a high concentration of ions in a small space, the static charge on the coffee grounds is effectively minimized. This results in less residue, less flying coffee grounds and minimal clumping. This results in a cleaner, more consistent grind.

The Ion Beam is also equipped with an infrared sensor to detect movement within a radius of 5 cm. If, for example, a dosing cup is brought close to it, the Ion Beam is automatically activated. The design of the Ion Beam also allows it to be mounted on a standard 1/4 inch tripod. This offers flexibility for different grinders.
