FAQs
What is the best way to store coffee beans?
Since the aroma of the coffee beans evaporates relatively quickly when they come into contact with oxygen, you should store your coffee beans in an airtight container. Because many coffee bags aren't resealable, it's best to store your coffee in an airtight container. We recommend a bean container with a vacuum for this. With these containers, you usually create a vacuum by turning or pressing the lid, so that your beans are reliably protected from oxygen and moisture inside.
By the way, you should store your coffee in a cool, dry place, but not in the fridge.
Why is it recommended to store coffee beans in a vacuum bean container?
It is advisable to store the coffee beans in a vacuum bean container so that the beans stay fresh and do not lose their aroma. Because as soon as oxygen gets to the coffee beans, their aroma evaporates relatively quickly. This is also the reason why you should only freshly grind the required amount when preparing coffee. So that you can enjoy your coffee beans for a long time, you should store them in an airtight container. However, since only a few coffee bags can be hermetically sealed again after opening, we recommend storing them in vacuum bean containers. By turning or clicking, you can deprive the containers of oxygen and create a vacuum. At the touch of a button, you can release this vacuum again so that you can remove your coffee beans for preparation.
