In Hamburg, the beans are gently long-term roasted in a drum roaster. This has the advantage that the full-bodied, aromatic taste of the coffee beans can fully develop. The CAPTN Coffee sample packs consist of coffees made from whole beans and ground coffee powder. With some types of filter coffee, you can even choose whether you already have ground coffee or whether you prefer to grind the coffee beans yourself with a coffee grinder.

For which preparation method are the coffee tasting packages suitable?

Our CAPTN Coffee sample packs are true all-rounders. They consist of either pure filter coffee, espresso or a mixture of the two. Depending on which trial package you choose, you can prepare aromatic filter coffee with a coffee machine, hand filter and French press or strong espresso with an espresso maker, fully automatic machine and a portafilter machine. You get the coffee beans both as ground powder and as whole beans to grind yourself.

If you prefer mild, low-acid coffee, you should choose a variety from Brazil or Guatemala. If you like your coffee strong and strong, then we recommend coffee from Colombia.
