Collection: Coffee grinders with ceramic grinders
Coffee grinders are part of the basic equipment for coffee lovers and baristas. But the same applies here: not all mills are the same. There are many different models on the market. A distinction is made here between manual and electric mills. However, the grinder is the decisive factor for the quality of the ground material. With the grinders, a distinction is made between impact, disc and conical grinders, which are made of either steel or ceramics. Ceramic grinders are less sensitive to heat. In addition, fats and coffee oils usually do not settle so stubbornly. If you are looking for a coffee grinder with a ceramic grinder, you are sure to find what you are looking for with us. FAQs
What is the difference between stainless steel and ceramic grinders?
A stainless steel grinder is more robust than a ceramic grinder. When using a ceramic grinder, you should always choose the beans very carefully so that foreign objects do not damage the ceramic grinder. In contrast to the stainless steel grinder, the ceramic grinder is less sensitive to heat and less susceptible to residues of fat and coffee oil.
How do I clean a coffee grinder with ceramic grinders?
To ensure that you can enjoy your coffee grinder for a long time and enjoy a particularly aromatic taste, you should clean your grinder regularly. Cleaning a coffee grinder with a ceramic grinder is basically no different to cleaning a grinder with a stainless steel grinder. You can easily remove coffee residue in the grinder with a brush or narrow vacuum cleaner. For external cleaning, we recommend a damp microfiber cloth. You can also use this to clean the bean container on electric grinders.
Why should I grind my beans fresh?
We recommend that you always grind your coffee beans fresh before preparing your coffee or espresso. You should only grind the amount you need for your coffee, as the aroma evaporates relatively quickly when the ground coffee comes into contact with oxygen. If you process your beans immediately after grinding and brew your coffee fresh, your coffee will taste particularly aromatic. In addition, if you grind your coffee yourself, you can adjust the grinding level perfectly to your personal taste and the preparation method you choose.
