This coffee grinder is not only visually unique, because its name 'Sette' - from the Italian for seven - is no coincidence. Shaped like a seven, it clearly stands out from conventional machines. The reason for this is the motor, which is not below but behind the grinder. This not only gives her an extraordinary look, but also has other advantages.

On the one hand, the fresh ground coffee goes directly into the collection container without any detours, so that less ground coffee remains in the grinder. This means less waste for you and you can reproduce your desired coffee dosage more easily.You can easily read the amount of coffee on the display, which can show the weight of the beans thanks to the integrated scales.

On the other hand, the coffee beans are protected from the heat of the engine, which benefits the aroma of your coffee.

The innovative cone grinder is particularly impressive, which actually manages to grind 3.5 g of beans to espresso strength in one second. So far, no other grinder that we have tried is as powerful. But how does the Sette 270Wi get this enormous power? A new grinding technology is responsible for this.In contrast to conventional mills, the outer part of the grinder made of hardened stainless steel rotates around the inside. The degree of grinding can be infinitely adjusted here and can be read exactly on the grinder scale. With the Wi software, Baratza goes one step further in terms of innovation. It adjusts the grinder's offset (the point at which the grinding process is stopped before the set amount is reached) independently and approaches the desired amount with each grinding process. Your grinder 'learns' with every cup of coffee. It is also practical that you can exchange the collection container for a portafilter with just one movement or you can also attach one of the popular Hario V60 hand filters.
